在Mac OS X 10.9上使用pip安装Python Image Library时出现错误。

我想在Mavericks上使用pip安装PIL，但是出现了以下错误。

_imagingft.c:73:10: fatal error: 'freetype/fterrors.h' file not found

         ^
1 error generated.
error: command 'cc' failed with exit status 1

我的命令行工具已经安装并且是最新的，但是我找到的每个提示都没有帮助。

我该如何编译它？

编辑：我刚刚检查了一下，freetype也已经通过homebrew安装了。
